Fixes 30

  • CriticalSecurity embedded Chromium (CEF) updated to 156.0.15, addressing the October critical vulnerabilities patched in Chromium
  • CriticalSecurity Node.js updated to 24.22.2, addressing the October critical vulnerabilities.
  • CriticalSecurity the Python requester is built with Python 3.15, addressing the October critical Python and certificate vulnerabilities. WBEM over HTTPS connects to CIM servers that offer only RSA key exchange ciphers, such as OpenPegasus.
  • CriticalUsers can change only their own full name and notification settings in their profile; changing their access profile, organization or another user's profile is refused, as are profile changes from read-only sessions and disabled users.
  • MajorA Basic HTTP sensor with certificate checking that is redirected from HTTPS to HTTP reports the certificate as not available instead of failing every sensor in its group.
  • MajorAlert correlation: with three or more closing events, every closing event closes the alert.
  • MajorFixed a Console crash when opening a window while applying dark-mode window styling.
  • MajorFixed a NetCrunch Server crash in the SNMP sensor when its monitor was not available, and when reading MIB information for an object without a syntax definition.
  • MajorFixed NetCrunch Server crashes in performance monitoring: when a node was deleted while its sensors were being updated, when threshold settings changed while sensors were running, and when monitors were stopped or the server shut down.
  • MajorNodes page: tiles show their active alerts again, and the Active Alerts filter shows the nodes the alert badge counts.
  • MajorRemoving an object from a monitor's Alerts & Reports settings removes the alert rules assigned to that object.
  • MajorSNMP trap rules match as RFC 3584 defines: a rule with an enterprise and a specific type matches only that SNMPv2 trap, a rule for specific trap 0 no longer matches every enterprise-specific trap, and a rule using the SNMPv2 trap OID matches the corresponding SNMPv1 trap.
  • MajorThe Web Access server no longer keeps every event of a Console session that uses a WebSocket, so its memory no longer grows while a Console stays open.
  • MinorA probe's own node is excluded from DNS resolving.
  • MinorA standard SNMPv2/v3 trap that names an enterprise, such as authenticationFailure, keeps its generic trap type instead of being treated as an enterprise-specific trap.
  • MinorAn engine with no sensors no longer logs 'Engine is not available' when a connection check reply is lost.
  • MinorAtlas upgrade accepts Custom Views that contain a single network or a single dynamic folder.
  • MinorClosed dialogs that contain tooltips, such as view properties, no longer stay in the Console's memory.
  • MinorEach REST API or MCP call takes one rate-limit token; REST v2 calls counted twice and MCP calls three times.
  • MinorEvent import no longer causes 'client is already executing a query' warnings in the PostgreSQL event database log.
  • MinorEvents delivered over HTTP polling, when a WebSocket is not available, are no longer delayed by up to 60 seconds.
  • MinorFlows: rows that are atlas nodes - on Atlas Nodes, Interfaces, Addresses, Servers and both ends of a conversation - show the node status and open the node menu; a node removed from the atlas reads .
  • MinorGraphical views: while reconnecting a line, the pointer reaches the widgets under the dragged line.
  • MinorIntegrations fail with a readable error when the integration profile has no credentials.
  • MinorIP SLA operations of an unknown type are monitored with the Common sensor.
  • MinorLocalized setup versions no longer require an internet connection.
  • MinorReports: trend charts of a section repeated for each instance show the instance in the title, and calculated counters no longer show the .NCVC.. prefix in chart titles and legends.
  • MinorThe Routing Map shows the NetCrunch network when NetCrunch Server has a public address.
  • MinorThe Set Owner submenu and the owner filter in the alert view editor work again.
  • MinorThe Web Access server uses less CPU: application files are unpacked once and cached, an idle server no longer wakes 200 times a second, and an installed server no longer watches web files for changes.
